In the last week I have sold some pretty interesting items and a few friends of mine have sold some great profit makers. With the holidays right around the corner they went for considerably more than we paid for them. Hopefully other sellers will have just as much success with them as I had. The list is in no particular order, but here it goes:
1. TMX elmo. This item was not sold on the ebay.com site but on the eBay Australia site. It went for almost double what I paid for it. I am not sure if there is a scarcity in Australia or if it is just in high demand but they are selling well in Australia.
2. Unlocked Iphone. This is still making some good money but the unlocked version, a version that is available on any network, is doing extremely well. The packet to unlock them is inexpensive and makes the phones much more valuable.
3. Brass Trains. The brass trains market on eBay is booming with more and more buyers appearing all the time. Some brass train sellers have conversion rates of almost %98. Not many eBay industries have those kinds of numbers. One caboose in particular sold for $120 more than paid for, including eBay fees.
4. Hannah Montana tickets. If you have a chance to get your hands on these tickets, then put them up on eBay immediately. Make sure you show pictures of your tickets as many buyers are leery of tickets to this event in particular. These tickets are going well into the thousands of dollars.
5. Dwight Schrute bobblehead. The famous yahoo from the office is a cash cow. You can find these at collectible places for relatively cheap. A colleague of mine sold one for almost 3 times the amount he paid for it.
Good luck with your eBay sales!
